Short notice, but I’m speaking at an art-science event in New York on the 19th.
LASER is part of the beautiful, sprawling Leonardo project that encompasses a journal, book series, and other events. LASER stands for Leonardo Art Science Evening Rendezvous. The official website blurb is here but the relevant section I paste below:

40 E 19th St., #3-R, New York
LASER is a monthly series of lectures and presentations organized by Piero Scaruffi on behalf of Leonardo/ISAST. LASER is sponsored by School of Visual Arts MFA Computer Art Department, Arizona State University Art Museum, andSchool of the Art Institute of Chicago Sound Department.
The evening will consist of feature presentations by artist and interventionist Eve Moser discussing the HighWaterLine, a public work that visualizes climate change impacts via creative acts; University of Pittsburgh professor Mark Paterson summarizing the “Reconfiguring Sensation” art-science-theory initiative; installation and permanent public art artist Nina Yankowitz presenting 3D imaging and animation processes and an overview of her interactive installation piece Crossings; and a brief presentation by artist and educator Sherry Mayo.
Maybe see you there!
Addendum: The write-up for the evening event is part of the Sci-Art in America magazine blog, which you can see here. Nice photos and a good summary of what was discussed.
